National Director
It's been a quiet month, with very few letters received since last meeting.
Jamie queried what progress had been made on the design of the new Chapter
Awards, and not much had happened since last meeting.
To allow Sid Arnold to concentrate on his Editorial duties, it was decided to
pass the design work for the new award to local 'Friend of the Regiment' Sid
Treml.

RT Editor
Word has that the next RT is heading steadily towards pre-publication review.
Former RT Editor and local graphics guru Bob Migliardi volunteered to meet
with the Editor in order to brainstorm new design ideas and improvements to
the magazine.
It was suggested and thought to be a good thing that we include a page of
Special Products' advertising with each RT.

Treasurer
The 111 Sqn decal sheet printing is paid for and we're still sitting with a
tidy amount in the bank account.
John will be presenting a full financial report to cover the RT Vol 27 year,
kind of as an end-year report. The bookkeeping challenges of an RT
volume year currently taking longer than 12 months was not discussed.

Membership/Circulation
Debbie reported that we had 22 renewals and 6 new members since last
month.
A glitch in the membership software (apparently John's fingers did a bad
thing) accidentally deleted approx. 125 members from the RT mailing last
month. The error was discovered and resolved and the members who got
biffed out of RT 27/5 were mailed a copy. Kudos to Deb and Randy for
jumping on this issue, so to speak, and getting the problem resolved with
minimum bloodshed.
Randy did a mass mailing to recently expired members to query as to why they
left the IPMS Canada fold. A number came back as undeliverable and only
a few with an FOAD reply to us. The undeliverables will be Internet
researched for one last shot, and then we'll revise the database to reflect
any updates.

There was another discussion on the portfolio. Jamie, Randy, and Jean
are going to hammer away on this one offline, in an effort to define this
portfolio.

It's been a slow month.
The remaining 1/72 111 Sqn and 400 Sqn decals were vetted down to the best
quality we want to sell. Don't ask what happened to the remaining
'seconds'.

Chapter Liaison
Jean sent a Chapter start-up package to some
folks in Moncton, NB.for
freebie stuff for the Canadian content contest mentioned in the ND’s report. Sad to say, the good old days of ‘graft’
merchandise from the manufacturers has dried up, so all we were able to offer
was some of our own decals.
Charters for calendar year 2003 will be sent out to the current chapters in
January 2003.

Webmaster
Steve is still trying to figure out the best way to downsize the RT Index
provided and updated by IPMS St. John's Fred Hutcheson.
Steve was asked to provide a page of IPMS products to Sid Arnold for inclusion
in the next RT.
Steve will be away for all of Jan and part of Feb doing HMTQ's bidding, so
someone will have to download and redistribute the incoming e-mail.

Special Projects
The new 1/48 111 Sqn decals are back from the printers and were shown
around. There is one colour error made by Microscale that will require a
small reprint to provide proper yellow rings for the type A1 roundels.
No biggie, and the rest of the sheet looks great! See the webpage for
further information.
The next new decal sheet, subject matter: XXXXXXXXX,
is undergoing some revisions prior to printing.
For some reason, sales on the Luftwaffe weapons have started picking up again.
The older decal sheets are still selling in a steady trickle..
