New Business-National Director
It's been a pretty quiet period. No nut mail has come in and members'
issues we've heard about have been addressed in a timely fashion.
We received a letter from Gary Bowman of DeHavilland Scale Modellers. We
are donating a one year membership to IPMS Canada for Christmas raffle.

RT Editor
RT 30/2 will be a DeHavilland Scale Modellers chapter special.
RT 30/3 will have a variety of material in it, including some work from our
new friends in Tennessee.
Sid promises that he has some exciting armour stuff in development for future
issues.
Jamie was jammed into a corner to
produce a photo shooting article for RT and the
webpage.
The print run for RT needs to be adjusted downwards. John will be
providing up to date print run numbers to Sid as we go to production.

Membership/Circulation
Out of 86 renewals sent out with the last issue of RT we got 65 back, and 6
new members. A net loss of 15 members.
An active PayPal account and an online method for renewal may help us to
reduce these membership losses. Jamie will redouble his efforts to get
this set up, and Steve will incorporate the material on the web page.

Marketing
Robin's work and
heavy travel schedule means he has to drop at least part of his portfolio.
Regardless of outside pressures, Robin will be getting some RTs and decals
from Randy to send out a marketing letter for the organization.
Robin will look at scouring other national and international IPMS resources to
find material suitable for re-publication in RT. Of course this
cooperative venture would be a two-way exchange, and we would be offering RT
articles for re-publication in other IPMS publications.
The extremely high postage cost of servicing a international (i.e., not USA)
foreign membership can no longer be subsidized by IPMS Canada. John will
be running hard figures for international memberships and the price will be
raised to cover this..

report and declared that all was good in his AO.

Webmaster
The Webmaster was tactfully reminded that we were late in
putting up some new photos of Vic Scheuerman's Mustang III, done with the new
decals.
Steve needs to contact our current ISP to update the billing information, if
needed (see next discussion point).
In a related development, we are looking at changing our ISP to get a
better bang for our IPMS Canada web bucks. Improvements will include
host server space to allow for a proper "discussion forum" area (much like
IPMS/USA's set-up) vice the Yahoo group we currently have available
for members
