Valued IPMS Canada Members,

Effective immediately, the dues for all IPMS Canada membership plans have increased by 50%.

The updated membership dues are as follows:

  • Canada: $56
  • USA: $68
  • International: $98
  • Family: $66
  • Junior: $36
  • Associate: $27

This decision to raise the dues was made after careful consideration of several factors beyond our control. These include a recent 25% increase in postage rates in Canada, and to a lesser extent an acknowledgement of the ongoing uncertainties in the market due to trade disputes between Canada and the USA. These challenges have dramatically raised the costs of producing and distributing our quarterly magazine, Random Thoughts. In the face of these rising costs, we were faced with difficult choices that required raising our dues to continue to offer our magazine to IPMS Canada members in its current format.

We understand that you may be concerned about this cost increase; however, please note that IPMS Canada has not raised its dues in over a decade and has not kept pace with inflation and the rising costs of production.

Throughout 2025, your IPMS National Executive will undertake a review of member services to identify new opportunities for enhancing the value of your membership. We will announce developments in the coming weeks and implement several new strategies to improve your membership experience.
